Preparing your logo customization brief

Identify the product and model

Begin with the exact product model. Logo placement and available methods depend on the product shape, material and selected configuration. Include the estimated quantity and destination market.

Provide usable artwork

Send the clearest available artwork and identify the intended colors. Ask which file format is required for the selected printing or application method. A small screen image may not be sufficient for production.

Specify size and placement

State the preferred location and approximate dimensions. If you have a marked photograph or a previous sample, include it for discussion. Confirm whether the chosen position and method are suitable for the selected model.

Include packing requirements

Tell the team whether the logo also appears on packaging, labels or cartons. Keep product markings and packing markings clearly separated in the brief.

Review the sample and order details

Agree how a sample or artwork proof will be reviewed before production. Confirm sample arrangements, quotation, order quantity and final specifications in writing. Availability and conditions are agreed for the selected order.
